Keren Gueller
Keren Gueller (b. 1976) is a multidisciplinary artist, who lives and works in Israel. Gueller is a MFA graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and The Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Gueller creates experimental video works, sculptures and installations, which explore human and animal behavior, as well as its surroundings.
Gueller has had solo exhibitions at Haifa Museum, RawArt Gallery, Petach Tikva Museum of Art, ״Hanina״ Contemporary Art Gallery, ״The New Gallery Artists’ Studios – Teddy״ in Jerusalem, Kfar Saba City Gallery, Kav 16 Community Gallery in Tel Aviv, and “Tmuna” Theatre Gallery in Tel Aviv. Her work has also been exhibited in various group exhibitions at The Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, MoBY – Museums of Bat Yam, Kulturhuset Stockholm, Haifa Museum of Art, and at The Video Art Festival in Berlin, among others.
Gueller was awarded several prizes, including Young Artist Award from the Israeli Ministry of Culture and Sports, a Project Grant from Tel Aviv municipality, a Graduate Scholarship in Art from America-Israel Culture Foundation, Osnat Mozes Scholarship for Excellence in the Arts from Hamidrasha Faculty of Arts and Independent Creators Grant, Israel Ministry of Culture.
Gueller is also an active lecturer in art, art education, experimental film, and Excellence program coordinator at “Hamidrasha”, Faculty of Arts, Beit Berl College.
