Shiran Yitzhari
Shiran Yitzhari (b. 1987) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Haifa.
Yitzhari’s practice includes building models, photographing objects, drawing and site-specific installations. She works with building materials; wood, concrete, sand, gypsum, in various casting techniques, alongside light and photography techniques.
Her works reflect landscape images and local visual representations, on architectural structures and on the formal and symbolic abstraction of urban landscapes by sculpture and photography, and on processes of giving value and legitimacy to historical objects, when she refers in addition to concepts
Yitzhari holds a BA from the Faculty of Arts in Beit Berl (2016) and an MFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (2020). Her works have been exhibited in museums and galleries in Israel and around the world.
