Ofer Grunwald is an international bonsai artist, operating with a groundbreaking approach in this unique artistic field. Aside his extensive work with traditional bonsai, Ofer focuses mainly on the development and interpretation of this field as a new medium for local-contemporary ways of expression.

Ofer will discuss the different notions of Japanese traditional arts – the philosophies, techniques, aesthetics and worldviews – and the ways in which they serve as inspiration for contemporary artistic creation.
