Celebrating International Women’s Day by adding more women artists to the Hebrew Wikipedia.

Artport is pleased to continue the tradition and join international art institutes, for a day of content writing on female artists. Let’s enrich Wikipedia with more information on great artists!

Wikipedia has become a major source of knowledge, though when looking for information about personalities in Hebrew, less than 20% are about women. The Art + Feminism initiative aims to change just that, and write history together as we want to read it.

In light of the circumstances the event will take place a month after the International Women’s Day, with pre-registration and following the green guidelines (vaccinated, recovering, or a negative corona test performed 48 hours prior to the event).

The program: Getting to know Wikipedia and learning basic rules, writing new content, translating existing texts ​​to Hebrew, and also music and strawberries.
