?How can we broadcast dance on the radio? What would a choreography of resistance sound like

Radio-Choreography is an artistic research project initiated in 2019 by Netta Weiser. The project explores various ways to broadcast dance on the radio and examines the relationship between live transmission and muted histories. As part of this project, Weiser is developing a radiophonic archive that focuses on dance practices created by female choreographers during times of migration and border crossing.

In this listening session at Artport, Weiser will present excerpts from the Radio-Choreography archive, showcasing a selection of sonic choreographies performed in contexts of war and political resistance, with a particular focus on works she created in collaboration with artists from the Middle East.
