Congratulations Michal Baror, who participated in Artport’s residency program in 2015, on her new role as Head of Forty Something Program in Musrara’s photography department.
As of the upcoming academic year, Michal Baror will lead the Forty Something Program at Musrara, run by Ayelet Hashachar Cohen. The program, which has been running for the eighth year, allows people from different professional backgrounds to specialize in photography as an artistic medium.
Michal Baror (b. 1984) is a visual artist currently based in Tel Aviv. She holds a BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem and an MA from the Royal College of Art, London. Baror has exhibited solo exhibitions in Israel and around the world and won the Young Artist Award by the Ministry of Culture in 2015. Baror teaches in the Department of Photography at Musrara and curates exhibitions at the Musrara Galleries.
