Artist Yael Frank, who is taking part in Artport’s residency program, won the 2019 Keshet Award, including a solo exhibition at the Herzliya Museum of Art in 2020.

The reasoning of the choice: “Yael Frank’s proposal is coherent, original and thorough. It engages in a dialogue with the unique museum architecture, offers a new approach to language-object relations and responds to the political and cultural state of our time. Frank creates amusing metaphors and situations that overwhelm existential complexity. Her work has energy, charisma and humor. ”

The award was founded by the Bar-Gil Avidan family and aims to expand and deepen support for the Israeli art field.
